Barrage Survivors Privacy Policy

Barrage Survivors is made by Yiannis Kyritsis, trading as YK Co, in Melbourne, Australia. This policy explains how information is handled when you play the game or contact us.

At a glance

The game does not require an account. We do not operate a server that receives your gameplay or saved progress. The game has no advertising, tracking or third-party analytics SDKs. Optional purchases are processed by Apple.

Information kept on your device

The game stores your progress, War Bonds, unlocks, training, selected operator and skin, squad selection, preferences, tutorial status and purchase-related records locally. This information is used to run the game, remember your choices and recognise purchased content. It is not sent to YK Co by the game. Device backups may include this data depending on your Apple settings; the game does not provide its own cloud-save account.

Purchases

Apple processes payments through the App Store. The game uses StoreKit to check purchase status, unlock purchased bundles, restore eligible purchases and handle refunds or revoked entitlements. Purchase records can include product and transaction identifiers. We do not receive your payment-card details. Apple handles App Store account and payment information under its privacy policy. Apple may also provide developers with sales reports.

Diagnostics

We do not include a separate analytics or crash-reporting service in the game. Apple may collect diagnostics and make crash reports available to developers according to your device privacy and analytics settings.

If you contact support

When you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include, such as your device model, app version, screenshots or a description of a purchase problem. We use this to respond and resolve the issue. Our email provider processes these messages to deliver and store them. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details or unnecessary personal information.

Retention and your choices

You can clear gameplay progress and preferences using Options → Reset Save. This preserves eligible in-app purchase entitlements and transaction records used to prevent duplicate grants. Deleting the app removes its local app data, although backups and Apple's purchase records may remain. Reinstalling does not automatically restore earned progress; eligible permanent purchases can be restored through Apple.

We keep support correspondence only for as long as reasonably needed to resolve the request, maintain relevant support records and meet legal obligations. Email us to request access, correction or deletion of information you have sent us, or to raise a privacy concern. Some records may need to be retained for legal or purchase-related reasons.

Sharing and security

We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. Information you send to support may be handled by our service providers, including outside Australia, or disclosed where required by law. We take reasonable steps to protect support information; no storage or transmission method is completely secure.

Children

The game does not ask players for their name, age or contact details. Parents and guardians can manage purchases through Apple's parental controls. If a child has sent personal information to support, contact us to request its deletion.

This website

Opening this policy or the support page sends ordinary web requests to our website host, which may process technical information such as your IP address and browser information to deliver and secure the website. These pages do not add advertising trackers or a support form.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the game or our practices change. The effective date above identifies the latest revision.
