Terms of Service

Welcome to ContractSnap ("the App"), a mobile application developed and operated by YK Co ("we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the App.

Acceptance of Terms: By downloading, installing, accessing, or using ContractSnap, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Where the App presents an “I Agree” or similar confirmation, tapping that confirmation also forms part of your acceptance. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

ContractSnap is an iOS application that uses artificial intelligence to analyze Australian property contracts of sale. The App extracts key information from uploaded PDF documents and presents it in an easy-to-understand format.

Important Disclaimer: ContractSnap is an informational tool only. The analysis provided by the App does not constitute legal, financial, or professional advice and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or not applicable to your circumstances. You should always consult qualified professionals (such as solicitors, conveyancers, or financial advisors) before making decisions based on any information provided by the App.

No reliance: You acknowledge and agree that you use the App at your own risk, and you should not rely on the App as a substitute for independent review of your documents by a qualified professional.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use ContractSnap. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Account and Credits

  • ContractSnap uses a credit-based system for contract analysis.
  • New users may receive a limited number of free credits upon first use (as displayed in the App).
  • Additional credits can be purchased through in-app purchases via the Apple App Store.
  • Credits are non-transferable and may not be resold.
  • Credits have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Credits are generally non-refundable except where required by applicable law or Apple’s policies.
  • Purchased and promotional credits expire 18 months after the date they are added to the App. When credits from multiple grants are available, the credits that expire first are used first.
  • Each contract analysis consumes a fixed number of credits as displayed in the App.

4. In-App Purchases

  • All in-app purchases are processed through Apple’s App Store and are subject to Apple’s terms and conditions.
  • Prices are displayed in your local currency and may vary by region.
  • All purchases are final except where required by applicable law. Refund requests must be directed to Apple in accordance with Apple’s refund policies.
  • We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time, though any changes will not affect credits already purchased.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use ContractSnap only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Upload any documents that you do not have the right to access, use, or share.
  • Upload documents in breach of confidentiality obligations or without required consents.
  • Upload documents containing sensitive personal information of third parties where you do not have permission to do so.
  • Use the App for any fraudulent or illegal purpose.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App’s functionality or servers.
  • Share your account or credits with others.
  • Use automated systems or bots to interact with the App.

Your responsibility for uploads: You represent and warrant that you have all rights and permissions necessary to upload and process any documents you submit through the App, and that doing so does not violate any law, contract, or third-party right.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of ContractSnap, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, and software, are the exclusive property of YK Co and are protected by Australian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • ContractSnap is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
  • We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any analysis or information provided by the App.
  • You acknowledge that outputs may contain errors or omissions and that you remain responsible for verifying all details in your contract and associated documents.
  • We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the App.
  • Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for credits in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless YK Co and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your uploaded documents, or your violation of these Terms.

9. Privacy

Your use of ContractSnap is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the App, you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Service Availability and Interruptions

We may rely on third-party services (including platform providers and infrastructure providers) to operate or deliver parts of the App. We are not responsible for outages, interruptions, delays, or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including third-party service outages, telecommunications failures, or force majeure events.

11. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue ContractSnap (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the App.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms within the App or on our website. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to ContractSnap immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately.

Unused credits: If your access is terminated due to a breach of these Terms, any unused credits may be forfeited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and YK Co regarding your use of ContractSnap and supersede any prior agreements.
